BIO

Ibrahim Ibrahim (Not a typo), yes, I was named after my grandfather. I’m a 20-year-old student born and raised in East Africa, Ethiopia. After completing my high school and a year in engineering faculty in Ethiopia, I decided to move to the United States for open doors of multiple opportunities. I resided in the U.S on the 24th of September 2015, and ever since, my life has changed for the better. I am currently a Phoenix College sophomore trying to complete my associates in science. I plan to transfer to a 4-year university to get my bachelor’s degree and hope to work at a patient care program.
Here in Phoenix College, my experience has been phenomenal. I have had amazing professors and mentors to guide me, students to always make me feel welcome, and faculty members who always provided the right information. Joining S-STEM for the first time will increase my experience in research and laboratory equipment’s, which I think is essential for my future. I hope to have a delightful semester with all the S-STEM faculty along with the scholars.
